The Big C

Aged 23, Rebecca was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease, a cancer of the lymph system. The tumour in her chest measured 10x 12 cm.

The proposed medical treatment was chemotherapy for 3 months, radiotherapy for a month and a further 3 months of chemotherapy. Rebecca went ahead with the medical treatment and supported it with meditation, visualizations, yoga and changes to her diet.

This book is a glimpse into Rebecca's head and heart during her experience with cancer. Her story is poignantly told through diary extracts and photographic self-portraits.
